C&K Systems, the pioneer of dual technology motion sensors, provides the majority of motion detectors used by SAFE. Dual technology detectors combine passive infra-red technology with microwave technology. This eliminates many of the causes for false alarms as well as maximizes detection of system violations.
Central station monitoring is performed locally by CentralOne, a UL listed central station with full backup power. Monitoring can be provided for a range of need-levels. Standard monitoring consists of emergency/zone reporting and automatic 24 hour self-test signal.

High security monitoring has the features above as well as the following options:

1. A Line Cut Monitor will sound the alarm if there is an interruption of the phone line at the protected premises. The Silent Knight 7150 Line Cut Monitor is standard with Watchalert, Alarmnet and Uplink.

2. Line security is achieved over any standard phone line by utilizing a DCX derived channel watchalert subscriber terminal unit and special processing by BellSouth. When there is an interruption of the phone line at the protected premises, not only will the alarm sound, but a signal will be received at the central station indicating that the phone line to the protected premises has been interrupted.

3. Both the Ademco 7720 Alarmnet Radio Transmitter utilizing 900 mhz technology and the Uplink Digicell 1500 Cellular Alarm Transceiver using Cellemetry Data Service will sound the alarm and transmit a signal to the central station indicating that the phone line to the protected premises has been interrupted. In addition, the central station will receive a signal even after the phone line has been compromised
